Taisa Kushner joins Galois as Principal Researcher

We’re delighted to announce that Dr. Taisa Kushner has joined Galois as a Principal Researcher. Dr. Kushner works at the intersection of formal verification, machine learning and cyber-physical systems control – with a particular focus on healthcare applications.

Her research interests include developing reliable, data-driven models under biased data; designing verifiably safe control and decision support systems; and increasing accessibility and adaptation of clinical technologies.

Dr. Kushner received her PhD in Computer Science and Interdisciplinary Quantitative Biology from the University of Colorado Boulder, and also holds an MSc in Applied Mathematics from the university. Prior to joining Galois, she was an NSF/CRA Computing Innovation (CI) Fellow at Oregon Health & Science University, and Adjunct Assistant Professor at Portland State University.
