Background
Before joining Galois, Nichole worked as a Data Scientist in industry for several years, applying and developing theories to solve problems and enhance products for companies in the online fraud detection and Wi-Fi networking industries. Nichole earned a PhD in Mathematical Sciences where she focused on the study of orthomorphisms of fixed length bit strings–a mathematical object which has applications to symmetric-key cryptography.
In her spare time, Nichole likes to go on local adventures with her family. “We love spontaneous trips to the beach and to the mountains where we spend most of our time outdoors regardless of the weather.”
