Research & Engineering
My primary focus is building secure embedded devices and complex systems, that are needed in, for example, automotive and aerospace applications. I believe in open-source software, and I am happiest when I can commit my contributions back to the community.
Michal received PhD. in Electrical Engineering from Portland State University, and an MSc. in Electrical Engineering from the Czech Technical University, as well as an MSc. in Space Science from Lulea Technical University. During his studies, he built an electric race car and raced it on a track.
Prior joining Galois, he worked at Utah State University building drones and developing flight control software and hardware for precision agriculture applications.
