This week, Galwegians from across the country gathered to celebrate the grand opening of our new office in Minneapolis. The festivities included an open house of the new office space; a walking tour of the city; a double feature of Wallace and Gromit: The Wrong Trousers and Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon at the Parkway Theater for friends and family; and good times all around.
We put a lot of thought into the layout and composition of our offices, aiming to build spaces that foster the community, connection, and collaboration that make Galois so special. And although Galois has had a presence in the Twin Cities since the acquisition of Adventium Labs in late 2022, moving into a new, updated space in Minneapolis’ Mill District marked a great opportunity to celebrate the merger of the two technology research powerhouses.
Minneapolis-St. Paul has a long and storied history of defense technology development. A proud part of that throughline of innovation, Adventium Labs made its mark as an industry leader in building tools to help organizations navigate and solve complex systems engineering problems, most notably with the creation of the CAMET (Curated Access to Model-Based Engineering Tools) Library. Combine that with Galois’s cutting edge work in formal methods, cryptography, AI/ML, and human-machine teaming, and you’ve got a recipe for a company that can achieve significant results: from securing critical systems on which national security depends to helping NASA explore the farthest reaches of space.
Stay tuned. Exciting days are ahead.
