Proof Engineer

Galois tackles the hardest problems in computer science. Our mission is to assure trust in critical systems that protect the integrity of information in the real world. We currently seek a proof engineer to join our world-class experts responsible for verifying industrial-scale systems and software that power the internet and the world.  

Skills & Requirements

  • Education – Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent. MS or PhD in CS or a related field desirable but optional, depending on industry experience.
  • Required Technical Expertise – Must have demonstrated expertise in developing software in an environment with an established product/software development lifecycle.
  • Desired Technical Expertise – Familiarity with developing, maintaining and improving formal models and proofs using model checking or theorem proving technologies. Experience with the functional programming paradigm.
  • Required General Skills – Must work well with customers, including building rapport, identifying needs, and communicating with strong written, verbal, and presentation skills. Must be highly motivated and able to self-manage to deadlines and quality goals.
