Bamse - an MSI builder generator
This is the (modest) release page for Bamse, a tool for creating installer builders
that let you conveniently bundle up your product/deliverable as a
Microsoft Windows Installer (.msi). Convenient as in readily-includeable in an automated build
process. All written in Haskell (w/ GHC extensions.)
There are two downloaded pieces on offer (assuming you've already installed GHC) --
- Com - Haskell package for interoperating with
Microsoft COM functionality (based on the HDirect COM library.)
- Bamse-1.0 - tool source code. Depends on the above package.
(For your convenience, the COM MSI is distributed in dual form, as a GHC
binary package and as source code. The installer can auto-register the former
with your installation of ghc-6.6.1', should you want to avoid the
step of having to rebuild the package from source.)
License: Bamse is covered by a BSD-like license (no ad clause).
